What is haab's striae in cornea of eye ?
• Haab's striae is nothing but tear of descemet's membrane of cornea.
• The enlargemnet of Corneal size and shape due stretching the corneal tissue result of tear descemet's membrane is called as haab's striae.
• Haab's striae or Descemet's tears are horizontal breaks in the Descemet membrane
• It is associated with congenital glaucoma, Progressively increase the Intraocular pressure (IOP).
• It is named after Otto Haab Swiss ophthalmologist.
